Our Staff & Leadership

We believe God places the potential to lead in all of us, in an area in which we’ll flourish. But it takes character born of listening and being obedient to God’s calling in our lives.

There are many opportunities to become a leader, and we’ve seen people who never thought they could lead find their true fit at Hope Vineyard through God’s guidance and the encouragement and support of others. From outreach to the homeless, to setting up on Sunday mornings, to serving in kid’s church –– if you’re leading, you’re a leader.

Lead Pastor

Why are you at Hope Vineyard?

God led us to Hope Vineyard back in 1987. We love the loving and welcoming atmosphere. The people are like family. I enjoy experiencing God in fresh ways. Here I'm not just a Pastor, but also a fellow follower of Jesus. My faith is deepened as I am challenged and encouraged by the people of Hope Vineyard.

What do you love about St. Louis?

I love the big city, small town feel of St. Louis. I love the diversity and cultural melting pot here. There are great restaurants, awesome entertainment and artistic outlets. My two favorite things in St. Louis are the Zoo and Cardinal's Baseball.

Why are you at Hope Vineyard?

What I love about Hope Vineyard is that no matter where you are in your journey with God - whether seeking, new believer or long time follower of Jesus, you will be loved here and encouraged to go deeper in your personal walk with Him.

What do you love about St. Louis?

I love that the St. Louis area has so many options and is a great place for families. You can visit the zoo, Muny, arch, etc. or just find a peaceful place to sit by the river. Can't beat that.

Why are you at Hope Vineyard?

This was the place that helped me when I was in need. No matter the problems someone may be dealing with now or in the past, Hope Vineyard welcomes them. This welcoming spirit is what has kept me here over the years. My life has been changed and impacted because this is the place where I continue to  experience Jesus.

What do you love about St. Louis?

St. Louis is big enough, yet small enough. In traveling around the country I think it's one of the best-kept secrets. There are so many activities and places to visit that are family friendly. It has such a culturally diverse population for a city its size, which has been the case throughout its history. This is the place that my wife and I decided to raise our daughters even though both of us were not raised in St. Louis. We of course, would do it all over again.
